For Conference Attendees: things you should know.

Conference Wiki:

Both during the conference, and leading up to SLMS 2010 the SLMS conference wiki is going to be the place to go for information. The information from the SLMS 2009 conference has been archived and we are now adding information about SLMS 2010. Go here for program information as soon as it is available and for tools to enrich your conference experience. Looking to carpool? For a roommate? Want to know more about that Saturday luncheon speaker? And if your question isn't there yet, you can add it to the discussion and we will try to answer it for you!

Don't want to be bothered checking back for changes? Click on the notify me tab and have the additions you are interested in seeing added to your RSS reader.  Never used an RSS reader? We have some links on the wiki to help you with that also.

Technology:

One of our goals of the conference is to break the walls of the traditional conference and work on building connections. If you have a laptop, bring it! There is free WiFi throughout the conference space and you don't have to be staying at the hotel to access it.

Are you on Facebook? Join the SLMS/NYLA group to receive conference updates and connect with your colleagues. If you haven't tried Facebook, maybe this is a reason to get connected.

Are you on Twitter? The conference is  - slms2010. Follow us to receive updates and information about what will be going on during the conference. Post your own observations with the #slms2010 tag. If you haven't had someone to follow on Twitter, or haven't had a reason to try it, this might be your opportunity. Or just check the wiki or the conference main page where a widget will post the last few tweets.
